Blagojevich Appeals Convictions, Stiff Sentence

Lawyers for Rod Blagojevich filed an appeal just before a midnight deadline Monday. It challenges the imprisoned former Illinois governor's corruption conviction and 14-year prison term. The filing comes more than 2 years after the Chicago Democrat's retrial and 16 months after he entered a federal prison.
