Silencing Many Hospital Alarms Leads To Better Health Care

Go into a hospital these days and you'll hear incessant beeping noises. Each beep indicates something is potentially wrong with a patient. But there are so many alarms that nurses suffer from "alarm fatigue". One hospital found that turning off the beeps actually improved patient care.
